ﺍﻟۤﻢّۤ
Alif lām mīm.

2
ﺍَﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ﻟَﺎٓ ﺍِﻟٰﻪَ ﺍِﻟَّﺎ ﻫُﻮَ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻲُّ ﺍﻟْﻘَﻴُّﻮْﻡُۗ
Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwal-ḥayyul-
qayyūm(u).
Allah, there is no god but Him, Yang
Mahaliving, Most Caring for (His creatures)
continuously.
3
ﻧَﺰَّﻝَ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻚَ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐَ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺤَﻖِّ
ﻣُﺼَﺪِّﻗًﺎ ﻟِّﻤَﺎ ﺑَﻴْﻦَ ﻳَﺪَﻳْﻪِ ﻭَﺍَﻧْﺰَﻝَ
ﺍﻟﺘَّﻮْﺭٰﻯﺔَ ﻭَﺍﻟْﺎِﻧْﺠِﻴْﻞَۙ
Nazzala ‘alaikal-kitāba bil-ḥaqqi
muṣaddiqal limā baina yadaihi wa
anzalat-taurāta wal-injīl(a).
He sent down to you (Prophet Muhammad)
Book (Al-Qur'an) with rights, confirms
(books) before, and has sent down
Torah and Bible
4
ﻣِﻦْ ﻗَﺒْﻞُ ﻫُﺪًﻯ ﻟِّﻠﻨَّﺎﺱِ ﻭَﺍَﻧْﺰَﻝَ
ﺍﻟْﻔُﺮْﻗَﺎﻥَ ەۗ ﺍِﻥَّ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭْﺍ
ﺑِﺎٰﻳٰﺖِ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪِ ﻟَﻬُﻢْ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏٌ
ﺷَﺪِﻳْﺪٌ ۗﻭَﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ﻋَﺰِﻳْﺰٌ ﺫُﻭ ﺍﻧْﺘِﻘَﺎﻡٍۗ
Min qablu hudal lin-nāsi wa anzalal-
furqān(a), innal-lażīna kafarū bi
āyātillāhi lahum ‘ażābun syadīd(un),
wallāhu ‘azīzun żuntiqām(in).
before (the revelation of the Qur'an) as a guide
for humans, and sent down Al-Furqān
(distinguishing right and wrong).
Verily, those who are displeased with
verses of Allah, for them a very punishment
hard. Allah Almighty has
recompense (torment).

ﺍِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻟَﺎ ﻳَﺨْﻔٰﻰ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻪِ ﺷَﻲْﺀٌ
ﻓِﻰ ﺍﻟْﺎَﺭْﺽِ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﻓِﻰ ﺍﻟﺴَّﻤَﺎۤﺀِ
Innallāha lā yakhfā ‘alaihi syai'un fil-
arḍi wa lā fis-samā'(i).
Truly for Allah there is nothing
hidden in the earth and neither in
sky.
6
ﻫُﻮَ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱْ ﻳُﺼَﻮِّﺭُﻛُﻢْ ﻓِﻰ ﺍﻟْﺎَﺭْﺣَﺎﻡِ
ﻛَﻴْﻒَ ﻳَﺸَﺎۤﺀُ ۗ ﻟَﺎٓ ﺍِﻟٰﻪَ ﺍِﻟَّﺎ ﻫُﻮَ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺰِﻳْﺰُ
ﺍﻟْﺤَﻜِﻴْﻢُ
Huwal-lażī yuṣawwirukum fil-arḥāmi
kaifa yasyā'(u), lā ilāha illā
huwal-‘azīzul-ḥakīm(u).

It is He (God) who formed you within
womb as He wills. Not
there is no god besides Him, the Almighty again
All-wise.

ﻫُﻮَ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱْٓ ﺍَﻧْﺰَﻝَ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻚَ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐَ ﻣِﻨْﻪُ
ﺍٰﻳٰﺖٌ ﻣُّﺤْﻜَﻤٰﺖٌ ﻫُﻦَّ ﺍُﻡُّ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐِ
ﻭَﺍُﺧَﺮُ ﻣُﺘَﺸٰﺒِﻬٰﺖٌ ۗ ﻓَﺎَﻣَّﺎ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﻓِﻲْ
ﻗُﻠُﻮْﺑِﻬِﻢْ ﺯَﻳْﻎٌ ﻓَﻴَﺘَّﺒِﻌُﻮْﻥَ ﻣَﺎ ﺗَﺸَﺎﺑَﻪَ
ﻣِﻨْﻪُ ﺍﺑْﺘِﻐَﺎۤﺀَ ﺍﻟْﻔِﺘْﻨَﺔِ ﻭَﺍﺑْﺘِﻐَﺎۤﺀَ
ﺗَﺄْﻭِﻳْﻠِﻪٖۚ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻳَﻌْﻠَﻢُ ﺗَﺄْﻭِﻳْﻠَﻪٗٓ ﺍِﻟَّﺎ
ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪُ ۘﻭَﺍﻟﺮّٰﺳِﺨُﻮْﻥَ ﻓِﻰ ﺍﻟْﻌِﻠْﻢِ
ﻳَﻘُﻮْﻟُﻮْﻥَ ﺍٰﻣَﻨَّﺎ ﺑِﻪٖۙ ﻛُﻞٌّ ﻣِّﻦْ ﻋِﻨْﺪِ
ﺭَﺑِّﻨَﺎ ۚ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻳَﺬَّﻛَّﺮُ ﺍِﻟَّﺎٓ ﺍُﻭﻟُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟْﺎَﻟْﺒَﺎﺏِ
Huwal-lażī anzala ‘alaikal-kitāba minhu
āyātum muḥkamātun hunna ummul-
kitābi wa ukharu mutasyābihāt(un),
fa'ammal-lażīna fī qulūbihim zaigun
fayattabi‘ūna mā tasyābaha
minhubtigā'al-fitnati wabtigā'a ta'wīlih
(ī), wa mā ya‘lamu ta'wīlahū illallāh(u),
war-rāsikhūna fil-‘ilmi yaqūlūna
āmannā bih(ī), kullum min ‘indi
rabbinā, wa mā yażżakkaru illā ulul-
albāb(i).

Hasil terjemahan
It is He (Allah) who sent down the Book (Al-Qur'an)
to you (Prophet Muhammad). Between the verses-
there are verses that are muhkamat, those are the main points
contents of the Book (Al-Qur'an) and others mutasyabihat.
As for those who are in his heart
tendency to go astray, they
follow the mutasyabihat verses for
causing slander (confusion and doubt)
and to search for takwilnya. But it is not
No one knows the takwil except Allah.
The knowledgeable people say,
“We believe in it (the Koran), all of it
from our Lord.” Nothing can
take lessons, except ululalbab.

ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ﻟَﺎ ﺗُﺰِﻍْ ﻗُﻠُﻮْﺑَﻨَﺎ ﺑَﻌْﺪَ ﺍِﺫْ
ﻫَﺪَﻳْﺘَﻨَﺎ ﻭَﻫَﺐْ ﻟَﻨَﺎ ﻣِﻦْ ﻟَّﺪُﻧْﻚَ
ﺭَﺣْﻤَﺔً ۚﺍِﻧَّﻚَ ﺍَﻧْﺖَ ﺍﻟْﻮَﻫَّﺎﺏُ
Rabbanā lā tuzig qulūbanā ba‘da iż
hadaitanā wa hab lanā mil ladunka
raḥmah(tan), innaka antal-wahhāb(u).
(They pray,) “O our Lord, do not
You make our hearts turn after
You guide us and
bestow upon us the grace of the presence
Your. Truly You are the Giver.
9
ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎٓ ﺍِﻧَّﻚَ ﺟَﺎﻣِﻊُ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱِ ﻟِﻴَﻮْﻡٍ ﻟَّﺎ
ﺭَﻳْﺐَ ﻓِﻴْﻪِ ۗﺍِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪَ ﻟَﺎ ﻳُﺨْﻠِﻒُ
ﺍﻟْﻤِﻴْﻌَﺎﺩَ ࣖ
Rabbanā innaka jāmi‘un-nāsi liyaumil lā
raiba fīh(i), innallāha lā yukhliful-mī‘ād
(a).
O our Lord, verily You are
who gathered mankind on that day
there is no doubt about it.” Indeed
God does not break promises.
10
ﺍِﻥَّ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭْﺍ ﻟَﻦْ ﺗُﻐْﻨِﻲَ ﻋَﻨْﻬُﻢْ
ﺍَﻣْﻮَﺍﻟُﻬُﻢْ ﻭَﻟَﺎٓ ﺍَﻭْﻟَﺎﺩُﻫُﻢْ ﻣِّﻦَ ﺍﻟﻠّٰﻪِ
ﺷَﻴْـًٔﺎ ۗﻭَﺍُﻭﻟٰۤﻯِٕﻚَ ﻫُﻢْ ﻭَﻗُﻮْﺩُ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺭِۗ
Innal-lażīna kafarū lan tugniya ‘anhum
amwāluhum wa lā aulāduhum
minallāhi syai'ā(n), wa ulā'ika hum
waqūdun-nār(i).
Indeed, those who are kufr, will not
useful for them whit property
and their children (to save
themselves) from (the punishment of) Allah. They are the fuel
Hell fire.
